NZG 685 LIEBHERR R 916 Advanced Excavator "50th Anniversary" 1:50 Excellent Condition VERY RARE....here is the Liebherr R916 "50th Anniversary". Beautiful piece from NZG and is a fine quality model. Model is in excellent condition and the metal tin has minimal signs of storage wear and no interior cushioned pads but will be securely wrapped in the tin for safe arrival to you. I am listing this as used since there are no cushion pads in the tin and the rear mirror has been replaced.....looks okay and you can always change it out but I am telling you upfront.

Presented here is the exclusive 1:50th scale Liebherr R916 Advance tracked excavator from NZG which has been commissioned to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Colmar manufacturing plant. Liebherr has commissioned various models in the past to celebrate events and this time, they have chosen to release a model which is unpainted, showing all the detail of the raw zinc castings.

The cab interior has been accurately reproduced with controls and drivers seat all visible through the large windows. The new design cab gives a greater view for the operator and has accurately scaled grab rails and rear view mirrors fitted to the frame. Even the rubber window seals have been simulated using black printing.

The undercarriage frame has highly detailed drive wheels with integrated access steps cast into the frames. The individually linked track pads have grouser and bolt detailing on each pad and link together using tension on the idler wheels. The model was presented to visitors and guests on the day and it is unfortunate that the model was not made available to collectors but your chance to own one is now. Serial #251.
