Product description:
1. Connect the 12VDC power supply to the circuit board. At this time, the three red LED lights on the circuit board will light up.
2. Insert the op amp to be tested, paying attention to the direction of the notch.
The socket on the left is a test single op amp, with two red and yellow LED indicators on it.
The socket on the right is for testing dual op amps. The two sets of red and yellow LEDs above correspond to the two chips inside the dual op amps.
3. After inserting the chip:
If the op amp chip is normal, the yellow LED is on and the red LED is off.
If the output of the op amp chip is open circuit, the yellow LED turns off and the red LED turns on
If there is a short circuit inside the op amp chip, the red and yellow LEDs will flash alternately.
For low conversion rate chips, the LED indication status is always bright yellow and red will flash weakly. This can also be used to roughly judge the slew rate of the chip, because most of the polished chips sold on the market use low slew rates. Not only is it fast, it can also determine whether the chip is counterfeit.
The actual test conversion rate is lower, such as: OP07, LM741, yellow is always on, red is slightly brighter
Test high conversion rate chips such as: TL071, NE5534, MC34071 and other chips, yellow is always on, red is off
Single op amp models: LM741, LF356, NE5534, TL071, TL081, OP07 and other standard package single op amps
Dual op amp models: LM358, NE5532, TL072, TL082, MC1458, RC4558, OP275, AD827 and other standard package dual op amps
