Illustrated throughout with vibrant colour illustrations by the author's. 

Four volumes. Later editions. 

This set features four works by the father and son duo, Laurent and Jean de Brunhoff featuring their popular character 'Babar the elephant'. The works tell stories about Babar's adventures and his friends, with this set including ; 'Babar and Father Christmas', Babar's Friend Zephir, Picnic at Babar's and Babar and That Rascal Arthur'.


CONDITION

In the publisher's original pictorial hardback. Externally smart with the odd minor mark to the boards, heaviest to 'Picnic', loss to the tail of the front joint to 'Picnic' and closed tears to the head and tail of the front joint to 'That Rascal Arthur', rubbing to the head and the tail of the spine to all but 'Father Christmas' and rubbing to the corner to the head of the board to 'That Rascal Arthur'. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages with the odd minor mark and very slight age toning to the extremities of 'Father Christmas'.
