Here's a RARE Rollei 35 Compact 35mm Film Camera variant--- it's a Rare Early Model---  Made in Germany, when Honeywell owned the company, from the late 1960's.   They shifted production to Singapore only a couple years after the camera began production.  It has a Carl Zeiss 40mm f/3.5 Tessar lens with a Compur shutter.  It comes with it's original Strap and Lens Cap (although the cap is rather loose--- doesn't stay on well.)   It also has a hard case, which I don't think is original to it, but it fits well.

I'm not very familiar with all the nuances of this camera, have not shot any actual photos with it and I'm not a Camera Store technician.  But I can tell you it's in Excellent Cosmetic Condition with only very slight flaws that don't detract from it too badly--- on the top, there are a couple teensy, tiny dings/nicks at the top right edge (above the viewfinder area).  And there's a couple of very faint rubs and tiny spot of brass showing on the lens-retract button.  That's about it for cosmetic issues aside from a few assorted very minor blemishes otherwise.   Look at the pics.... if I didn't mention the dings you probably wouldn't have noticed.

Functionally, it winds smoothly and the shutter speeds fire at different speeds, but the slowest ones--- 1/15 on down stick open.   The others have not been "bench tested" for accuracy, so I don't know how accurate they are.  The f-stop sets perfectly well and operates fine.  The viewfinder is bright and clear.   The light meter works--- again I don't know how accurate it is, but it's rare to find it actually working!  To my mediocre naked eyes---- the lens glass is Gorgeous--- crystal clear with brilliant coatings--- no dust, no scratches, no haze, no fungus--- Beautiful!

So that's about all I can tell you--- I have not tested it with film and I'm not too familiar with all the nuances of this camera, but it still operates reasonably well, and it's a RARE Variant---- Very Collectible.   The case is a little beat up but it works, and the strap and lens cap are Nice as well.  What you see is what you'll get--- please examine the photos.

Continental US Shipping will be $11.50.  It will be packed well and safe---- shipped quickly after purchase. International Shipping is via the ebay program.

PLEASE READ--- By Buying you Agree with this--- I am not a store like Amazon. I'm just an old camera collector/shooter selling some Used items.  If you read all of the description you'll see I took the time to check out the item and give you an honest description.   But that said, and because eBay sux, I can't have things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part swapping" either.  I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for and can recognize when something is broken.  But I can't "Bench Test" everything to factory specs, and understand every little bell and whistle.  So I'm sorry, I can't sell this item on Approval--- it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Buyer's Remorse, No Try-outs, No Returns, sold As Is with noted flaws--- Not Mint Perfect or Like New.     Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can't describe every every millimeter of it and maybe I missed something.   As expected with age, a used vintage camera could be found with a nick or blemishes here and there or a few additional specs of dust inside that I failed to mention, particularly inside the viewfinder... but they won't affect the photos and would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect.  Unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially when it's a 40+ year old item!  (and if it was brand new the price would be 50% higher.)   You gotta accept the bad with the good.    What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.

SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE Interesting Items---- I'll be selling a large portion of my camera collection over the next few months, so check back and/or tell me what you're looking for.    If you have questions about this or other items or combined shipping or other discounts---- please ask... Let's make a deal.
