Louis XV Belle Époque, Cameo Glass Vase, 1890s, 
with Bronze Mounts by Abel COMBE, Paris

We are offering a French vase from the Gilded era, 
red cut to a satin-finished cameo glass with Bronze mounts 
in the Louis XV style by Abel COMBE, Paris, France.

Within the details, this vase features baskets of flowers, 
trophies of musical instruments ornamented in the gilt bronze mounts 
with bow flower tassels and garlands.
The rococo style, cameo etched cut to mottled opaque white 
vase accents a striking red ground. 
This art glass vase, circa 1890 -1900, would add a lovely touch to any setting.

Condition:
Good condition, no visible chips or cuts. One hundred and twenty years ago, 
the gold dore' bronze mounts blazed, 
the brilliance now softened, with minor noticeable foxing.
