These lovely natural shungite pendants have beautiful pyrite vein patterns giving them a stunning black and gold effect. Shungite is formed in deposits in Russia and is often found forming with pyrite clusters and with lines of quartz. Some of these pendants also have quartz threads running within them. These are 100% genuine Shungite from Karelia in Northern Russia.

Each pendant is wired onto pure copper and a copper ring to slide on the suede effect cord. Each necklace also has a copper sliding bead which enables the necklace length to be varied from high to low which makes this ideal for men as well as for layering necklaces. The adjustable length ( up to at least 88cm) is ideal as you can easily adjust it to suit what ever you are wearing.

The pendant measures 3 cm (1 1/4 inch) by 2.2 cm (3/4 inch)  excluding the fitting and weighs 5 grams or 25 carats. The pure copper components used as handcrafted and fairly traded from India. It is important that Shungite is cleansed and recharged regularly as it absorbs so much from its surroundings. Cleanse with selenite or sage and recharge also with selenite or sunlight.
