cute little covered dish probably used for butter or sardines or other small foods such as nuts.  Need polishing has a little pitting on top.  Could be used on a dresser to keep knick knacks.  Has pinched area on rim of plate on ribbon design.  Very cute piece.  The hallmark appears to be a small snail.
