This is a vintage leather bag used by Moroccan "water sellers" (guerrab) in the souks (markets).  It is handmade with local and foreign coins attached all over the front and strap of the bag.  It was purchased directly by myself in Rissani, Morocco, near the Sahara Desert. Dates to the nineteenth century (1800s).  In excellent condition. More of a collectible & display piece than for actual use as a purse.
