Scarce 1st printing of The Two Towers, which is extremely hard to find in the correct original dust jacket that has a nick in the vertical of the 'r' in the word 'Towers'. This only appears on 1st printing jackets. 

Just one thousand copies of the 1st printing were bound by Houghton & Mifflin for the whole of the United States.

It is the hardest to find in 1st edition 1st printing of all of the Lord of the Rings books, either UK or US.

The dust jacket, has losses, closed tears, rubbing and chipping but is not price clipped and has no tape repairs.

The text is clean; no signatures or inscriptions. There is a book plate on the front free end paper.
