What Your Camcorder Can Do For You:

Single-Unit Convenience and Ease of Operation of your CLR200 Video Camcorder combines the functions of a video camera and a video cassette recorder in one lightweight, easy-to-use instrument. This eliminates interconnecting cables and simplifies operation.

Full Record and Playback Capability

Your CLR200 can record directly from the built-in video camera or, with the optional VAA002 Video/Audio Input Adapter, from a video/audio source such as another VHS VCR. Video/audio played back by the CLR200 video recorder or fed directly from the CLR200 camera may be viewed and heard on a TV receiver/monitor by feeding the CLR200 video/audio to the receiver/monitor inputs through the furnished Audio/Video Output Connector Cable. Additionally, the audio/video from the CLR200 may be viewed and heard on a standard TV by using the optional CRF010 RF Adapter.

Standard VHS Cassettes Mean Interchangeability

Because the CLR200 uses standard VHS video cassettes, tapes recorded on the CLR200 may be played back by the CLR200 or by any other VHS video cassette recorder.

Auto Focus Power Zoom Lens

The 6:1 autofocus zoom lens uses an infrared beam to automatically maintain focus and to allow you to zoom in and out for close-ups or wide angle shots at just the touch of the zoom button. Macro feature permits use as close as 3/8 inch from the subject.

Automatic White Balance

With the White Balance switch in the AUTO position your Camcorder will automatically maintain white balance as lighting conditions change.

Electronic Viewfinder (EVF)

The black-and-white electronic viewfinder allows you to see exactly what is being recorded. During playback operation, recorded material can be viewed on the electronic viewfinder.

EVF Eyepiece Has Adjustable Focus

Because the focus of the CLR200 electronic viewfinder eyepiece is adjustable, many people who wear eyeglasses may use the CLR200 EVF without wearing their eyeglasses.

Built-in Microphone

Allows you to record sound as well as picture without the need for a separate microphone.

Quick Review

Quick Review allows you to view the last few seconds of a recording without rewinding the tape. Just press the Review button while in the record/pause mode, and the last few seconds of recorded material will be displayed in the electronic viewfinder. After the material has been displayed the Camcorder will re-enter the record/pause mode.
