Antique Chromolithograph "Where's The Birdie? c1900. Large print in a Golden Brown hued Wood Frame.


Print is adorable showing the viewer a Robin's Egg nestled in the cupped hands of a little girl. The blue-eyed girl is showing off her discovery to someone in front of her and has her head at a quizzical angle hence the title: Where's The Birdie?


Her large bonnet with ribbon bow, short velour-like jacket with woolly collar, long skirt and lace-up boots all bring the late Victorian period to life.


Her face, posture and seating amidst flowers gives meaning to the age of innocence.


This print dating from turn of the 20th Century is a Chromolithograph printed in oil colors. A Print Type that gives appearance of an oil Painting.

The print "Where's The Birdie" now belongs to the"Old Print Factory" which currently owns the rights to this print and all others produced by the printer at the turn of the century.
