Due to its length it does not need a closure, it is easy to put over the head and drop over the cassock. At the end it contains a closure to attach a pectoral cross or crucifix, and a small hook to hang from a button.
The length of this chain is 45'2 inches = 115 cm, with a complement to reduce the length of the chain to the size desired by each user.
The width of this chain is 5 mm. (0.2 inches).
