Also available from the same link is the required Firmware Update versions listed here for the FTdx-101 series transceiver to be used with the SCU-LAN10 Interface:

To confirm the firmware version on your FTdx-101 series transceiver, press [FUNC] key, touch [EXTENSION SETTING] and then select [Soft Version]. The software version will be displayed.
All FTDX10 versions are supported.
Each SCU-10LAN unit includes a special 13-pin DIN interface cable, a USB cable and two snap-on ferrite RFI suppressors.

- The network remote control system for YAESU Radio consists of a compatible LAN unit (SCU-LAN10) with FTDX101 series and PC software (SCU-LAN10 network remote control software) for remote operation, which can remotely operate the radio station from a local computer.

- Supported radio models: FT-710, FTDX10, FTDX101D, FTDX101MP.
- Taking FTDX10 as an example, use a LAN unit (SCU-LAN10) to connect FTDX10 to the LAN network or internet (as shown in the figure), and then use PC control software downloaded from the website for YAESU (supporting for Windows system 8.1 or above).
- In addition to basic radio remote operation, the network remote control system also supports monitoring various spectrum displays, allowing for comfortable and free operation.
- Not only does it support remote operation, but it can also connect to the home LAN network and monitor the frequency band status through a large display screen outside the operating room.
- In addition to remotely operating the transmitted and received audio, RF spectrum, and AF spectrum, spectrum functions can also be used from a personal computer to conveniently set and tune the frequency band status display, perform various filter settings, interference cancellation functions, etc., making it easy to perform remote communication.
