DETAILS:

Case:            ’23’ model. Round, though noticeably thin with elongated sweeping lugs mounting the band. Original and signed 'Bulova' on the back. The 10kt rolled gold plated bezel and stainless steel case back have been cleaned & repolished and fitted with a new acrylic crystal and now look great. There is wear to the case in particular some dings to the lower right hand side of the case and lug. These are shown in photograph No.9. There is also wear to the inner face of the lugs. Please take a moment to be sure you are happy with these issues. The case is not waterproof.

Crown:         Original. Signed ‘Bulova’ showing some wear.

Dial:             Very eye-catching and distinctive, the dial has been professionally refinished to a high standard in a silver tone, accentuating and complementing the case. The quarter hour positions are marked with numerals whilst the remaining positions are arrow shaped markers. These along with the ‘Bulova’ name are gilt and slightly raised on the dial to great effect. ’23 Jewels’, ‘selfwinding’ and minute chapter are in black. The hour positions along with the hands have been relumed and now glow well in the dark.

Hands:         The hour, minute & sweep second hand are all original, gilt, ‘Alpha’ style.

Movement:  BULOVA high quality Swiss manual and self-winding movement. This is a fine classic 10BZAC calibre with 23 jewels, marked ‘M1’ for 1961. The movement allows for both manual and self-winding. It is designed to prevent over-winding. The movement has been cleaned, oiled & adjusted, and is running well, ready to wear. As with all vintage watches regular servicing is recommended.

Size:            Round, approx. 31.93mm in diameter. Approx. 38.12mm lug to lug.

Band:           A new 18mm black leather band with gold tone buckle has been fitted complementing the watch perfectly.
