Blade Making process:

1.The balde was made of folded Damascus steel in Maru structure smelted and pounded to fold 13 times to creat 8192 layers,Not only can remove the remain impurities of the carbon steel and better distribute the carbon to form the blank,But also allow the layers to bend at rates,it was Fully hand forged,hand shaping,hand polishing in the most traditional method of sword making.

2.The blade was well heat treating (Refining) and quenching(Tempering) greatly improve the hardness and flexibility of the balde for real use.

3.No HI will be good for heavy cuttingBo-hi (blood groove)(Bo-hi (blood groove) can be added to each side of the blade,lighten the blade also balance it to achieve optimal performance,If want the Bo-Hi, contact us to customize for you).

4.The blade comes with a full length Tang greatly enhances the strength of the sword while swung and it will be signed according to your requirements.(pls contact us through ebay message if you want to sign the DATE or NAME on the Tang)

5.The blade has been Fully hand polished with more than 15 process hand sharpening work in the most traditional Japanese craftmanship way.It is strong enough for the cutting.
Fittings:

1.Tsuka (Sword handle)
The Tsuka is made of high quality wood wrapped with genuine ray skin(Samegawa), and tightly tied with real silk ITO. Two Mekugi (peg) was nailed to secure the full tang of the sword, the sword can be disassembled by picking up the two Mekugi (peg).

2.Tsuba sets (sword Guard)
The Tsuba (guard), Fuchi (sleeve) and Kashira (buttcap) are made of high quality iron with exquisite workmanship and fine elaboration. The tsuba is Secured by Two Copper Seppas (Spacer),The Fuchi (sleeve) and Kashira (buttcap) are made well match the tsuka for a good balance.

3.Habaki&Seppa:
The habaki(blade collar) and the seppas (Spacer) are made of high quality brass

4.Saya (Sword Scabbard)
The saya is made by dry wood and put them through hacking, slotting,gluing, polishing and shaping treatment, and design proper degree of tightness for the sword blade to enter and out.

You can choose the following sword fittings to replace the original ones, or you can design for an unique sword and email us through eBay messaging system before or after your purchase, sword will be made as to your requirements. All of our swords parts are available for customization and replacement.

BLADE CUSTOMIZATION
(All of our blades can be customized as to your requirements)

1.Length&shape: the blades length and shape can be made as to your reqirements, it takes 2-3 weeks, message us for the customization.

2. sharpness: All of our blades are sharp enough for cutting, it can be made razor sharp or blunt, costs $10 for extra sharp.

3.Sword set: a Wakizashi and a Tanto can be made to match this katana sword.

ENGRAVING SERVICES

1.We can engrave on the blade and the saya as to your requirements,pls contatc us through ebay message.

2.Laser engraving cost $10,Etching engarving cost $20.

3.Saya hand engarvings cost $20.

4.It takes 1-2 days more for laser engraving while 3-4 days more for etch engraving and Saya hand engravings.

1.Swords will be shipped out in 3-5 working days if no any special customization requirements,Customized swords may need several days more.We will ship to the address we get from ebay system,if any changes,pls send the correct shipping address before shipping.
