We've taken our ongoing collaboration with Beyond Medals
to a new level for this season. Taking cues from the Goliath and
Whatever, we've designed a completely new board with an elongated nose
and squared off tail. This fresh shape was developed together with Tor
Lundström to best fit his fast aggressive riding style. This a serious
tool no matter the conditions.

BOARD TECH + FEATURES
- Glassing:
Bi-Ax Lamination - A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong
and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional
stiffness, which is great for getting creative.
- Woodcore: Ultra Light Core - A 70/30 Paulownia and poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.
- Base: Hyper Glide S - Our standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.
- Sidewalls:
Shock Walls - This is our Urethane infused sidewall technology.
ShockWalls smooth out your ride and are more resistant to impact.
- Tech:
D.S.T. SuperTubes - Dual Super Tubes, a Super Tube on either side of
the board enhances pop and gives the camber more snap.
- Layup
& Laminate: Carbon Stringers - Our tried and tested carbon layups.
We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.
- Features:
3BT - Triple Base Technology - At the heart of every Bataleon is a
combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to
the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without
sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting
point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding
style.
- Inserts: +2 Backseat Inserts - Backseat
inserts are an set of extra inserts 4cm behind the bottom inserts. This
allows you to set your bindings all the way back, so you can keep
floating on those deep pow days. By shifting your weight more back on
the board the nose stays up and the pressure on you back leg is reduced.
- Features:
SideKick - Builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the
sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The
tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing
through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from
edge to edge.
- Features: Supertubes - Hollow carbon
cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the
camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their
location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.
- Shape:
Directional Twin - Boards that need to excel both on the slopes and out
of bounds are shaped with evenly proportioned center and side bases and
a medium uplift striking the optimal balance for freestyle and
freeriding.
- Profile: Medium Camber - Camber
profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more
dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum
performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in
powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always
better...
