Here we have a gorgeous vintage Coalport lidded urn vase. Made to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the vases front panel features a beautifully hand painted picture of Westminster Abbey, where the Queen was coronated. The back panel has a passage that reads "25th Anniversary of the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1953-1978". All ontop of a deep blue background colour and covered in gold gilding. In a limited edition of just 100, this one being number 70. In original box.
In excellent condition overall for age, no chips, cracks or repairs. There are two very tiny lines of light crazing to the white background near the text on the rear side of the vase, almost impossible to see with the naked eye and very hard to photograph so please be aware. Comes with original box, although the box is a little tatty/stained due to age.
Measures approx. 32cm high.
