Description: A vintage exhibition poster for a show of illustration art by Newell Convers Wyeth (1882-1945) for children's books, which was held at the Wilmington, Delaware, public library from 24 April to 31 May 1981.

The image on the poster is "I Stood Like One Thunderstruck, or As if I Had Seen an Apparition" from Wyeth's illustrations for Robinson Crusoe, showing Crusoe discovering a footprint on what he had presumed was a deserted island. The painted belonged to the Wilmington library at the time of the show, but was sold in 2014 through Freeman's in Philadelphia.

Size: 22.875" X 34.875"

Right now the poster is framed but I will take it out and roll it and ship it in a tube. If you live close to Fallbrook California you can do a local pickup and there would be no need to take out of its frame.
