Antique Meerschaum Carved Horse Pipe with Original Case 

Made in Vienna

The first recorded use of meerschaum for making pipes was around 1723.

The condition is good, but unfotunately it's missing the mouthpiece.

Measurements: approx. 7.5 x 3.5 x 2.5 cms. 

The case measures approximately 11 cms in length.

The carving is intricate and beautifully detailed.

It has great colour and patination.
