The well painted portrait on card captures the young man seated, a book rested in his hands demonstrating his level of education and intellect. The portrait presented within an ebonised and gilt frame. Annotated to the back, “Amie?, A? Ford 1875”.

The frame diameter 13.2cm x 11.2cm.

The portrait in good overall condition, the portrait striking and clear. The frame showing very minor signs of age, the suspension loop stable and ready to hang. The portrait has been removed from the frame to check for annotations, the back has been left secure with acid free tape butA striking portrait which displays well.
