Custom Made Wood Grip for Hoyt Power Max and Alpha Max Right Hand Bows

This is a custom-made Hoyt style wood  (Note: the grip is held in the Left Hand for a Right Hand bow) compound bow grip. It is not a Hoyt factory product, it is hand-made to fit some Hoyt bows. 

Hoyt models it fits include RH models Power Max and Alpha Max (both shown in photos), and probably others. This grip slides snugly on the riser and does not use the riser mounting screws.  It can be permanetly secured with double-sided tape or 3M weatherstrip adhesive.

Personally I don't enjoy shooting using aluminum, rubber, or plastic bow grips, they just don't give the enjoyment and warmth of a real wood grip. So I started making them for myself and friends. This grip slides right onto your standard Hoyt compound bow riser (grip is pictured mounted on a Hoyt Alpa Max and Power Max) and secures easily with just some double sided tape (or many archery pros alternatively use a bead of 3M Weatherstrip sealant). 

This particular grip (actual grip shown in photos) is made of American figured maple and hardwood laminations, hand picked for areas of interest, and has multiple contrasting exotic hardwood center laminations to mark the center of the riser (to line up the bowstring when bow tuning). It is hand finished with 6 thin coats of satin polyurethane and hand-rubbed finish.  It's made to fit your bow and your hand like your favorite pair of blue jeans.
