Here's a GREAT Professional Quality Video Camera for a hobbiest, film-maker or Video Professional.   It sort of fell in my lap--- I got it in trade, so I don't know all the bells & whistles, but it's a pretty good model from what I do know.  And it seems to be in fine working condition, as far as I can tell.   See my GREEN Update.

As the title says--- it's a CANON XH-A1 (possibly also with the letter A attached to that model #--- see label on bottom) High Definition 3CCD HDV Video MiniDV 1080i Pro CAMCORDER Outfit.   It's got a High Quality main lens with a fabulous Zoom-Range of 4.5mm to 90mm plus an Add-On Wide Angle converter lens for extra wide-ness.  It also comes with lens hoods, two tapes (used), Battery and it's Charger & what looks like a Direct power adapter, plus a very stout Instruction Manual.   All in a Nice TAMRAC Padded Case/Bag.    And it's all in Excellent Condition--- Cosmetically and Everything Working well as far as I can tell. The body has only a few slight blemishes--- nothing broken or askew--- just some dust in the nooks.   Ready to Shoot!

Technically.... I'm not an expert on this camera, but it powers up and I was able to play the tapes and do a little fresh recording and everything seems fine and the image quality is great!     ( **** NOTE:   Based on a couple of inquiries I did more Function testing of the Rewind, Fast Forward, Pause etc.  It all works GREAT--- good video quality in Play mode, the motor is quick and quiet in non-playing/normal mode, the Pause Works fine, the Tape Ejection works fine, and the Audio quality is Great too.   I haven't tested every feature but it sure seems to be a beauty! ) The lenses are in Excellent condition as well---  clean with sharp coatings, the only detriment is a few specs of dust that won't do anything.   Other than that--- no problems that I can see.

So I'm sorry, I can't sell this item on Approval--- it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Buyer's Remorse, No Try-outs, No Returns.    Unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially when it's a used 10 or 20 year old item!  (and if it was brand new the price would be double)  Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can't describe every every millimeter of it AND I'm NOT an Expert on the thing.   As expected with age, a used vintage camera could be found with a nick or blemishes here and there or a few additional specs of dust inside that I failed to mention, particularly inside the viewfinder... but they won't affect the photos and would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect.    But.... I can't let people buy something, play with it, break it and then say it arrived that way.  I'm an honest guy, but there are many buyers who aren't, so it's Sold As Is.   What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
