A unique specimen plant that will give huge impact in the house or conservatory: a very large Crassula ovata (also known as a “money tree” or “jade plant””) which has been carefully sculpted and nurtured for nearly 40 years. It’s over 1.5m high from floor to top, and 1m wide at its widest point.

Crassula ovata is a succulent plant, native to the KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa. Its leaves are thick, shiny and smooth, and a rich jade-green in colour. It produces small, white, star-shaped flowers in winter. It requires little water in summer and even less in the winter.

This specimen was acquired as a young plant from a UK nursery and has always been in excellent condition, with no incidence of pests or diseases. It has been trained into a balanced and symmetric tree shape.

The pot itself is a valuable item: it’s large and extremely durable, made from black plastic, and has a strong wide rim.

Dimensions: pot diameter = 60cm; pot height = 50cm; height of plant above top of pot = 117cm; width of plant at widest point = 100cm.

Available for collection only from Chelmsford (CM1).

I have other large specimen plants available for sale, plus lots of other garden and household items. Please check my other listings and send me a message if you’re interested in multiple items.
