we picked this up from the C.F. MARTIN company is Nazareth PA. awhile ago.  It is a genuine Martin guitar pickguard used on The USA made acoustic guitars. In the past 15 years we have purchased thousands of discontinued and overstock pickguards from them.  This pickguard has a self adheisive back and has never been used.
