Up for sale is this nice Sony FM/AM Receiver ModelSTR-AV320 complete with Remote Control. Tested and working immaculately. Included is a black and white copy of the operating instructions.
Cosmetically the Receiver is in great shape with minimal scratches and scuffs. Face plate is clean with all lettering intact and a clear bright digital display. Rear of unit is clean with no scratches whatsoever and clean connections. Please see all pictures and video for a detailed description.
Mechanically and electronically the Receiver works perfect, every input/output has been tested and they are working as they should. It was taken apart and cleaned inside and out; Volume, Bass, Treble and Balance knobs where cleaned and lubricated to offer noise free operation. Power amplifier was separated from the heat sink, cleaned and then applied a fresh coat of thermal paste to keep it running as cool as possible. This system puts out very clean and crisp sound. It is perfect for a small apartment or home office. If you have a vinyl collection the phono input sounds very warm. FM reception with a basic antenna comes in strong, AM also pulls in stations clearly. It has what Sony calls DBFB (Dynamic Bass Feed Back) to reinforce the bass frequency sound, this is similar to a Loudness button when I tested it. Also it has a Surround button which is a Matrix surround that decodes ambient information in stereo sources, providing a surround sound effect and when tested it expands the sound notably specially if you're standing a few feet away. I'm convinced this will make a great receiver for anyone with limited space and a desire for pleasant, clean sound.
