This 8" LVC is thinner than the previous silver finish Splash cymbals offered in the past.
This thinner version works perfectly fine as an acoustic Low Volume Cymbal as well as for Electronic conversions. With this thinner version you can use it in a mix and match with another LVC of the same size on the bottom for use as a remote Hi-Hat or use any 8" cymbal and you will still get basically the same results in decibel levels. Approximate weight is 188 grams.
