This is one of a series of Warrior-King-Knights - Stylistically Based on Medieval - almost Ancient Chess Piece -  Imagery, and using a technique that reproduces something in appearance close to weathered Ivory.

And this is one of Schiavon's earlier examples from this series; and is perhaps purer & more focussed in design & execution.

He had a long and illustrious career in his native Italy - as both a much-decorated/awarded artist & teacher.

It is in PERFECT CONDITION

And would add much to any interior it was displayed.

N.B. the blending/shading on the crescent Moon discs-shields is a design element

Background:

We've acquired quite a lot of vintage, incl. high street fashion, and collectables for over the last 20 years. And we're looking to slim things down, as we're intending to move in late 2024/25

And, as we know the disappointment of receiving things that are not as presented, we'll be making every effort to describe things fully and honestly - whilst providing any further information we can.

All items will be clean & ready to use & carefully packed to prevent damage in transit - and sent with Royal Mail.
