This cut of teardrop  stone can be fragile at the tip.  The stringing hole is placed very close to the tip so care must be taken to not break off this sharp tip.  A close-up of the photos shows the placement of this hole.

As can be seen in the photos above, colors of beads in this strand vary from clear pale lavender to some fairly dark purple.  Most are somewhat cloudy but all show some transparent areas.   Shapes and sizes are fairly consistent and holes are drilled far enough away from the tip to be fairly sturdy.
