Ultra Rare 5 Horse Model - Fully Working

For sale here the rare and collectible 5 Lane version of the sought after Peers Hardy Horse Racing Derby Game. 

the game is in great condition with all track accessories such as starting gate, finish post, surrounds & floodlights. 

Also comes with all 5 original horses, stickers are still unused and not put on yet, also has instructions 

this was found when we was going through the loft a few weeks back, if i remember its been up there around 25years,

 The track has been fully tested having been test raced 11 times on the 2 lap setting just for this listing,

  Peers Hardy Horse Racing Derby is in Great working condition with the on/off switch, reset switch, lap switch working perfect. 

The sound also works great as does the electronic scoreboard that can be rotated easily to several viewing angles.

the results of the 11 races are as follows, as you can see each horse basically came 1st twice 

24135, 52134, 32145, 12354, 42153, 52143, 31425, 12453, 21435, 45231,15234

unfortunately whatever plank put it away last left the batteries inside

one of the batteries has leaked and corroded one of the battery connections (see photos) 

but it doesn't effect the game as it still works perfectly well(see video), 

luckily the side thats corroded is just a metal plate with no solder connections, its just a metal plate that sits there and continues the circuit , so you could just by a 'size D' battery plate and swap it straight over with no soldering or hardwork but like i said it works fine as it is

Extra info i just read on a different listing for one of these..so thought i tell you also

this system is setup like a slotcar racing track, the car/cartridges sit on a track and run around the track under the green, 

the car/cartridges have magnetic tops that the horses stick to and then run around the track on top of the green, 

the tracks can be cleaned like a slotcar track as can the car/cartridges as they work the exact same as soltcars 

the car/cartridges have the wirewool type bottom connections that sit on the tracks to power the motors, 

so the game its self can be easily cleaned and kept going forever, 

as its as simple as just keeping the track and car/cartridge connections clean
