Early 20th Century Terracotta Urn Vase with Classical Relief, later painted 31cm.

A superbly stylish terracotta small urn or vase, featuring classical theme relief scenes to the body with lions head masks and later painted.

Believed to be an early example, circa 1920-1940 and of a high quality. This 31cm tall urn or vase is an attractive interior design, decorative piece that works equally well indoors as it does outside, soft pads to the base so not to scratch furniture.

Later overpainted in white, the paint has now aged and blistered in areas, to reveal the original terracotta beneath.
