Components used for project  (left-handed Telecaster Cabronita 72' Deluxe Ash):

 

1/ Neck – Yamato Made in Japan large headstock Fender Stratocaster style; vintage approx. 50 years old;

Made in late 1960s / early 1970s by Yamato Tombo Gakki Japan factory (the same manufacturing plant made superb Morris acoustics - "lawsuit" Martin).

Tombo Gakki Japan plant was destroyed in fire in 1974.

Superb quality, 50 years old MIJ Japan natural vintage yellow tinted neck with thicker “C” profile (bigger than modern Fender “C”);

Flame effect to the fretboard, 21 frets in excellent condition for the age – please see auction photos.

Bone nut.

15:1 ratio open gear replacement tuners with brass gears, very good quality (no extra drillings / holes needed).

Perfect neck to the body fit (neck pocket) – no gaps, very tight.

 

2/ Body – chambered Ash body in Transparent Blonde Mary Kaye See Through finish; lightweight and resonant with very nice grain to it;

Fitted with  2 x Roswell FLT-NI AlNiCo Mini Humbuckers, Volume and Tone, 3-way switch selector;

Very solid chrome Hardtail Through bridge;

The pickups are in Gretsch FilterTron Mini Humbuckers design / style and are of excellent sound quality.

Body comes from Harley Benton TE-90FLT LH Deluxe.
