About this vehicle

This 1963 Lincoln Continental is an original. I purchased the car from a family friends estate after he passed away. This gentleman was a private collector of over 150+ cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He parked this car alongside others and left it for the next one. With that being said, I was able to purchase the vehicle and started to clean it up. I’ve cleaned up the vehicle and changed all the fluids, spark plugs, tires, etc. Realistically the vehicle needs two vacuum lines done and the new or old carb refitted. I’ve chased the residual lines and wires and everything looks straight. A new alternator will be needed. All the trim is intact and none is missing. The interior is immaculate. No stains on the carpet or seats. No cracks in the dash. All air vents are working fine and the interior controls for the mirrors work. Driveside door spring will need to be replaced for the door to close all the way. All three other doors perfectly click as they should. Overall the vehichle is extremely clean and realistically needs an owner with the time and space to tackle the residual needs of the vehicle to get it operational. As much as I love the car, my time is more valuable to me during this season of life.

Exterior

Note the door with “damage” to it. The door will need to be refinished clearly. I’ve beat around the panel and it’s solid. The passenger side in both the front and rear there is notice surface rust but, no bubbling whatsoever on the car at all. Passenger side frame horns will need to be rechromed. Factory liner, jack, and spare are all inside the trunk alongside other parts I purchased.

Interior

The interior is immaculate. There are no stains or rips anywhere. The carpet is in great shape and the seats are like brand new. Door panels are in great shape however, the window switches are in need of replacement (8 missing). I have two of the ones that came out that will be with the car. Not photographed is the factory visor that is there also. Also, the 8 way hydraulic adjusting seat hydraulic engages in all 8 directions, however the motor will need to be rebuilt or replaced in order for the hydraulic pressure to build properly. Individual who purchased the car new here in Fresno had a dealer card given and their name on the dash of the vehicle. Service records since purchased.

Engine

Engine is clean, I’ve hand turned the motor and it turns like it’s ready to go. I pulled off the old carb(still in possession) and I have a replacement that comes with the purchase of the car. Two vacuum lines are ripped but all the rest of the lines are intact. Car wiring all seems to work, have tested all the lights. Interior, exterior and specifically dash lights all work.
