This wonderful and rare to find vintage 1966 game from REMCO was based on the Television show of the same name that appeared from Apr 12, 1965 to April 11, 1966. The show featured a famous singer in the lead every week. People like Paul Anka, Bobby Vinton, Sammy Davis Jr., Petula Clark, Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicallo and Joey Hetherton sang the songs of the times. The first show featured Jack Jones singing "Hello Young Lovers" and ended 48 shows later with Paul Anka doing "What Now My Love".

This game, called the Electric Teen Game, asks trivia questions that features Pop Hits, Teen Culture, Stars and Dances and includes 12 double sided cardboard 'Records' placed on a metallic 'Turntable'.

Questions printed on the record shaped cards are answered by using metal pointers to complete an electrical circuit and turn on a battery-operated light bulb if correct. Please note, these are not really playable records and the turntable doesn't really revolve. Question/Answer subjects on 'records' include: Beatlemania, Musical Instruments, Solid Hits, Famous Singers, TV Stars, TV Shows, Faces in the Crowd, Mix & Match Mates, Broadway & Hollywood, Famous Parents, Swinging Groups, Famous Dances, Number Nonsense, Bits & Pieces, Home Towns, Common Folk, Song Titles Geography Go-Go and Million Record Sellers.

A ā€˜Dā€™ sized battery is required for the bulb to light up and, although the game looks like it may have never been used or played with, it has not been tested.

The box is in good condition but does exhibit some signs of age-related wear from storage and handling.
