KHORASSAN ISLAMIC BRONZE LAMP STAND PERSIA 12TH CENTURY

Period: 12th Century.

Materials: Bronze with copper inlay.

Dimensions: 355mm tall x 188mm wide.

Condition: A number of breaks, cracks, holes and solder repairs. Virtually all of the inlay is missing. Please see photos. Wear commensurate with age and use.

Notes: A fantastic 12th century Khroassan lamp stand, the tripod base supporting a stem with a succession of bosses, the circular tray engraved with designs. From the George Withers Collection.
