This is koto. This is an intermediate-grade koto with 13 strings, blind holes, a regular armor, and fine gold lacquer work on the dragon head and tongue.
There are few traces of the fallen kotobashira on the shell, and there are no cracks or breaks on the rock or back shell.
The pattern on the tongue and the maki-e are excellent, but there is a chip of about 1cm on the border. I can't really tell, but if you look closely you can see it.
Other than this small chip, the koto itself is of good quality and looks good.
The main body of the koto is made of paulownia wood, and it has a good tone and a typical koto sound.
We have completed the sound inspection and inspection.
It looks good and has a good tone, so it will hold up well even if you bring it to concerts, etc.
