AD&D Dragonlance War Of The Lance computer game released for the Commodore 64 computer in 1989 by SSI. Good working condition. 5 1/4 floppy is in great condition. Comes with original manual - some wear but very good condition. Complete, no rips or clipped sections, no added markings.

Only about 15,000 total copies of the War Of the Lance PC game were released and the majority of those were for Apple II or IBM & IBM compatibles. I've never seen another Commodore copy for sale. This is a war simulation type game and it plays pretty well - I'll put the overview at the bottom of the listing.

$8.90 United States Priority shipping. Local pickup is free - we're about 10 minutes from Manhattan, Kansas or less than two hours from Kansas City. Please check out all the photos and let me know if you have any questions or need any specific pics. I'm always happy to combine shipping. I'll be listing the rest of my vintage Commodore collection over the next month or so, so please check out my other auctions. Thanks very much.

When war erupts over the lands of Ansalon, you don't just move characters... You move entire armies!

Welcome to the first AD&D computer wargame. Prepare for fierce battles and all out war when the forces of Whitestone clash against the evil Highlord Dragonarmies. The prize? Absolute rule over all Ansalon on the DRAGONLANCE game world of Krynn.

Choose sides against another human opponent, or command Whitestone against the computer.

Send forth your diplomats to forge treaties and gain the allies that will swell the numbers of your troops.

When words fail, armies of humans, draconians, ogres, dwarves, elves, dragons and other creatures may prove more persuasive.

See armies move across the lands of Ansalon using the strategic map, or zoom into the overview map to direct the war on a tighter scale. Select the tactical view to watch details of the battle unfold.

During the course of the game, players can send groups of hero characters on quests to discover magic items, Dragonlances, dragonorbs and Gnomish technology which may help to defeat the enemy.

Enough talk. Let the war begin!
