Up for sale, a 2011 Fender Stratocaster ‘71 vintage reissue model ST71-ASH-FR in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This rare, non-catalog “Made in Japan” Superstrat sports a bevy of unique features including an SSH pickup complement, Gotoh Floyd Rose-style tremolo, and a gloss Walnut finish on a two-piece ash body.
The SSH pickup complement yields a bevy of vital sounds at each position on the five-way pickup selector switch, with two ST-Current ceramic single coils in the neck and middle positions and a Dragster humbucker at the bridge. The ceramic single coils have more punch and heft than a standard alnico design, delivering sparkle and throaty cut, and the Dragster at the bridge is full and biting, taking gain well. The second Tone knob doubles as a Blend, adding the neck pickup into the signal. This guitar weighs 8lbs 1oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
