A rare and unusual "Bacchus" head cider mug in honey glaze stoneware possibly by Buchan, but not marked on base.  Bigger than these Bacchus heads normally are, standing just over 5 inches tall and weighing 1.5 lbs  !   Glaze defect under the chin as you can see in the pictures, otherwise good and not damaged. Quite a rarity !    Free Uk post.
