A very scarce James Bond-related book.  JM Paland was, I understand, heavily involved with the French branch of the James Bond Fan Club and had priveleged access to assorted Bond promotional material.   This book was quickly withdrawn from sale due to a failure to pay the appropriate licencing fees for a number of the images used here.

The book features all of the James Bond Girls seen in the films up to publication, with images of the French versions of the film posters, dozens of film, promotional and glamour shots, film credits, brief plot summaries etc.

'James Bond Girls ' by JM Paland, published by PAC Editions in Paris in 1985, 1st and only edition, French text throughout, large quarto modern hardback (12in x 8.5in), 107 pages.  Extensive colour and b&w photos and images within.

Internally in near fine minus condition, no ownership markings, the pages are clean and tidy, there is a small over-extension/split in the gutter to the lower part of pages 8/9 - see photo 8.  Externally in good+ to near very good condition, illustrated boards with no dustjacket as issued, worn and chipped spine ends (mainly the foot of the spine), worn and rounded corners with slight splitting to upper corners - see photo 6, very light bump to front top edge, slight curve to both boards, light general surface wear.

** A scarce James Bond-related book and one that is usually seen with some elements of bumps and bruises since being published 4 decades ago.  The resultant licencing issues faced by Paland meant that no English language release was prepared and the book has never been reprinted.

You don't see many copies of this book on the market at all.   A copy was recently sold on Ebay at an offer against a listed price of £600 by top UK dealer, and James Bond specialist, Adrian Harrington Books per this link https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115671136327?hash=item1aee897847:g:O1YAAOSwQExjwGfI  **

Multiple items - Please review my other listings to see if there are any other items which are of interest to you.  I will be pleased to provide a suitable invoice for combined postage cost for 2 or more items.  If you have won an item and intend to bid on any other items which end on different days, I would be grateful if you would drop me a message.

Postage – All of my books are triple wrapped for delivery to maximise their safety - firstly in bubble wrap protection, secondly in either a padded envelope or a cardboard box, and finally in thick parcel paper.

For UK mainland - all items above a fairly modest value I will send via either signed for Royal Mail and/or courier options whichever is the best, this being largely dependent on the weight of the object.

I am more than happy to post overseas on the basis that all items will be posted by Airmail with a signature required on delivery.  If you are overseas, please feel free to enquire about postage charges ahead of registering a bid if you are unsure of the cost I may have outlined above, where costs may be prohibitive depending upon where you are in the world and the weight of the item, many thanks.

Feedback – I will be delighted to provide feedback for a winning bidder once they have done so first to ensure that the item has arrived safely.  In the event a winning bidder has any queries around a product following receipt, I would be pleased to deal with any queries via my business e-mail address or the Ebay message function in an effort to resolve matters ahead of any mutual feedback being provided, thanks.

Many thanks for looking at my items and good luck with any bids you make.

I will be regularly listing items for sale, please save me as one of your favourite sellers for the future, thanks.
