Huevocartoon.com was born as an animation site where the main characters, eggs, made satires on various cultural and social aspects in a humorous and irreverent way. The type of humor used is of a very particular Mexican style: mischievous, mocking and with a good measure of double meaning; and makes fun of stereotypes such as the drunkard, the Mexican macho, the politician, and many others.

The site www.huevocartoon.com emerged as one of the first projects of La Comunidad Huevo, an animation and production company founded by Rodolfo Riva Palacio Alatriste, Carlos Zepeda Chehaibar, Gabriel Riva Palacio Alatriste and Rodolfo Riva Palacio Velasco in November 2001. The site was officially opened to the public on January 6, 2002, and in the first three months it had already reached 3 million visits. By the end of 2004, the site had an influx of 230,000 daily visits.
