Made in the USA in 1990, the Thunderbird is one of Gibson's most popular designs. Vintage sunburst finish on a mahogany body with a neckthrough mahogany/walnut construction and an ebony fingerboard, it weighs 4.3kg's. Looks to be all original with Gibson branded tuners and pickups along with a black three-point bridge system.
Good overall condition with basic signs of wear, this one had a neck repair around the headstock at some stage as pictured but is now rock solid with no structural concerns. Given a full setup and service prior to listing, the frets have plenty of life and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
