This beautiful Drexel Declaration, Mid-mod dining set is in great condition and would complement almost anything you have around it.  It's all light walnut, which is actually a medium toned wood color with very nice grain and overall appearance.  The 60"x 40" table has 2 - 22" leaves to extend the table to 82" or 104" overall.  There are 2 armchairs and 4 side chairs that are light but still very sturdy with little signs of wear.  The buffet has 4 doors and 5 drawers.  There are multiple shelves in the closed cabinet doors and dividers and a red felt lining in a couple of the drawers for silverware and smaller delicate items.  It measures 72" long, by 20" deep and 31" high. The 3/4 style hutch top that is pictured sitting on the left of the buffet can sit anywhere you wish.  The hutch has glass doors and shelves and measures 48.5" wide, 12" deep and 40" tall.  The buffet and hutch also have interior lighting that is all wired from the rear.  This particular Drexel Declaration set is owned by my mother-in-law who is the original and only owner of this beautiful set and unfortunately, she's moving to a much smaller place that does not have a separate dining room.  The manufacture date on the back of the hutch is February, 1959 and this set was purchased by her and her husband in NY later that year.
The only issues or modifications of this set was the seats were recovered shortly after they purchased it and a golf ball sized stain of some sort on the tabletop in one of the pictures shown above.  There are a lot of additional numbers on some chair bottoms and I'm assuming it has to do with when they were recovered, dates or fabric numbers possibly?  The good part of the chairs already being redone, they are very easy and practical to have recovered again to match your room or style.
The bar piece shown with the set is NOT Drexel but is medium walnut and matches the grains and colors of the table very closely, so it complements the set very well.  The exact purchase date of that is not known but she believes it was definitely within 2 years after they bought their dining room.  The bar will be on a separate eBay listing on it's on as well for $1000, but you can have it at no cost if you make a full price offer for the complete dining set.  Just as a side note, if you needed additional seating, there are a couple of sites listing some of the exact same chairs that are not part of a full set for around $400 to $500 each.  Of course, the seat fabric would not be the same, but if you had a different look in mind anyway, you can get exactly what you want.
If you have any other questions, or would like additional pics, please feel free to ask.  The set itself is located in Southbury CT, but I live in the Boston south shore area, so if want additional info, it may take a while to get but I will get it somehow.   Pickup and/or delivery is strictly the responsibility of the purchaser, but I will definitely help in any way that I can.
Thx for Lookin,  Have a Great Day!
