This listing is for a very rare pink skinned re-issue Skipper doll from Mattel. I believe the reissue Skipper was only available for about one year, between 1969-1970, and was only advertised in the Sears catalog. Her hair color is red or Titian. I am not an expert, so please ask questions in case I miss a detail that is important to you. Please view all photos!

She is all original as far as I know. She doesn’t have any added makeup or blush. She is in excellent condition. The only thing I notice right away is that her right arm is a bit swingy and loose. I think her face has lightened or yellowed a bit because it seems a bit lighter than her body. It also seems a little lighter around the hairline than the rest of her face. Her hair is amazing…very silky and shiny. She doesn’t look like she was played with much, if at all.

She has the proper markings for a reissue Skipper. Her butt is marked 1963 Mattel, as is her swimsuit. The swimsuit is also in excellent condition. The elastic around the legs is still stretchy. She will come in a plain white box along with a pair of red Japan flats, and a metal headband. I don’t know if the shoes and headband are original. The headband does have some tarnishing.
