This is an opened, but never assembled 1986 model kit of the Flying Cloud Clipper Ship, made by Blue Jacket Ship Crafters from Castile, Maine. It will come in the original box which has metal reinforced corners seen in the photos, and all pieces have been carefully repacked for shipping. This model is a 1/8 scale, and when finished will be 37” long and 24” high. Included in the box is the instruction assembly manual, 3 white “blueprints” measuring 36”x40”, the solid wood hull, several packages of unopened hardware, a box of labeled threads, many pieces of wood most of which are thin, and the Britannia tin (brass looking) fittings.

This unusual kit is a classic piece of maritime history and has been in our possession for a long time, but realize we will be unable to complete it. It comes from a smoke free and pet free home.
