This is a self titled LP by Shakti with John McLaughlin on Columbia Records PC 34162 recorded live on July 5, 1975 at Southampton College and released in 1976.  It features L. Shankar on violin as well as three others.  It is Indian music somewhat similar to Ravi Shankar.  The record plays M-.  The cover is a nice VG+.  It is a very lively, upbeat concert.  I also have a Wayne Shorter LP listed at the time featuring John McLaughlin and Chick Corea from the same collection.
