Very rare 78rpm 6.5" Wilcox Gay Recordio Disc. Contents include Film legend Cantinflas comedy act in a Carpa theater show on Side 1 and a Violin performance by an unknown fiddler on Side 2. Recorded in the early 1940s.  As you probably know in Mexico, the Carpa (or Tent) theater flourished in the late 1920s and early 1930s, these peculiar traveling shows usually included musical acts, puppet shows, acrobatics, dance, political satires and comedy acts and was in this kind of shows where Cantinflas career began. Spanish language. Contents handwritten on both labels. Disc in Good condition with normal wear and normal surface noise due to it's age and the quality of the recording.
