Hi there,

I'm selling an amazing collection of antique, possibly vintage, insect samples in glass tubes.

I have no idea of who collected these samples or their history, and the hand-written notes in each tube are difficult to read.

They appear to be numbered, suggesting they were once part of a set perhaps?

There seem to be two sets of dates on the notes,. Earlier dates of 1852 or 1898 and a later date of 1938.

The notes are written in English and seem to be quite detailed with information.

There are 15 tubes in all, two are empty.

Though even some of the "full" ones are difficult to spot the bug inside

I don't have a microscope, so these are sold as seen, so as to speak.

I will pack these very carefully for travel.
