Where is the Radiator Support：

The radiator is located in front of the engine and is mounted to the car using a front radiator support. The radiator support is a reinforcement, typically made out of metal, designed to house the radiator, as well as other cooling components of the car.

Functions of Radiator Support：

A radiator support is a steel, plastic, or aluminum frame that holds the radiator and the radiator cover in place. It also attaches your radiator to the side aprons and the upper and lower rails of your engine assembly frame.

Risks of Radiator Support Damage：

The radiator support, if damaged or bent, can end up leading to coolant leaks and subsequent engine failure due to overheating. This damage doesn't always have to be immediately apparent, either. A slight bend to a radiator support can worsen over time. It can even begin to squeeze the radiator itself or damage other nearby parts of the engine.

How to replace a Radiator Support：

1.Located the radiator support, remove any attached parts to gain access to the radiator support bracket bolts.

2.Remove the radiator support bracket bolts.

3.Remove the radiator support brackets.

4.Install the new radiator support brackets. Check both sides to verify all parts that are attached are not damaged.

5.Install the support bracket bolts. Torque the bolts to the manufacturer's specifications. Reinstall all parts that were removed to access the radiator support.
