This hand made baby bonnet was found at the estate sale of a bobbin lace maker.  It's in pristine unused condition.  I think the peach lace could be cotton and the shiny thread used to highlight the pattern is a synthetic or possibly silk.  The ribbed white fabric feels like cotton or a cotton blend.  The peach ribbon ties are attached to the bonnet with a trio of French knots.  Measurements are given in the last photo; please note that the left side panel is 1/4 inch wider than the right side.  If your little girl or doll needs a slightly larger size it should be an easy fix to snip the threads that attach the side panels to the back and re-stitch a wider opening at each side.  This bonnet is not an antique and I'm unsure when it was made but it sure is sweet.

This baby bonnet will be carefully packed in a box and protected from moisture to ensure that it travels safely and the package will weigh about 5 ounces.  Shipping to US bidders will be by your choice of USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail (check eBay's shipping tab for ALL your options).  Although Post Office rates keep going up, kindly be assured that I will make every effort to only charge you the same amount that the PO charges me.  And did you know that eBay keeps some of the money that you pay me for shipping?  I do not pass these charges on to you or make any profit on shipping and I do not charge any handling fee.
