Top quality no nonsense T P & S solid brass door knocker. This is a stunning example and really do not come much better!. Solid heavy 950g and measures a robust 7" x 6". Three piece casting, mechanically fixed together with rod and screws. This is kite marked in two places and although hard to decipher I am pretty sure has the date letter O for 1860. The striker is a simple solid brass replacement patinated down to match the knocker. The bolts were missing so have been replaced with 5/8th imperial whitworth threads and nuts. I have left the bolt ends on so can be cut to desired length.
